Doroteo Arango, also known as Pancho Villa, was a Mexican revolutionary leader who fought for equality and Mexican sovereignty. His army was the only one to ever invade the United States territory, though legend has it that his head remains in a jar in an undisclosed location in the U.S., as punishment for his transgression.

Doroteo was aware of his own fame, and he made sure that history would remember him, so he often accepted to do interviews for foreign and local journalists, as prominent as John Reed. He even had a small group of cameramen that always followed him into battle.
