Graphite drawing.
Korf Gertrude
Trudy always loved art. After college, while teaching elementary school, she took art classes in the evening and during summers. After having two children, she took drawing, design, oiling painting and art history at a local college. She always studied independently in art galleries and museums in New York, Boston, Los Angeles, and San Francisco, and in 1965, she took an art and architecture tour of Europe. In the 1980’s, when she had a body of work in her own styles, Trudy showed in Sacramento, San Francisco, and New York. She received good reviews. Trudy does colorful, abstract oil paintings, expressive drawings, and some imaginative work. Nature inspires some pieces as well as her feelings toward Peace and Conservation.
