I am an engineer by education, IT professional by occupation but an artist by choice. I have an engineering degree and several years of experience in the corporate world, which I quit to follow my life long passion of creating art. I am a self taught artist with an extreme passion to create artwork using various media. I am inspired by everything around me and my expertise is in the usage of a wide range of colors and textures. My artworks have also been displayed successfully in various exhibitions in India as well as internationally (Singapore, Malaysia, Hungary,USA) and has been featured in the upcoming artist section in Better Interior Magazine in November 2010. My clientele includes people from all over the world -India, Hong Kong, Malaysia , Singapore ,South Africa,UK,Australia and the US – where my paintings have been part of interior decoration and family memorabilia

| Description | Indian rural women with their ethnic clothes and natural grace make for very interesting composition and painting. They are my favorite subject to paint. In this painting, I have created a textured background with dill paper and matte gel. The background was done using liquid acrylic and the lady was sketched on top. I created colored textured dill paper using acrylic paint and bubble wrap. Not exactly easy to handle but sure creates interesting textures. |
