We all know about how your zodiac sign says a lot about you. For example, a Leo is said to be outgoing, energetic and creative whereas a Scorpio is considered to be sensitive, emotional and intuitive.

So just like with zodiac signs, they say that your taste in art can also say a lot about you. Never heard of that before, did you? Well, how much truth there is in it is debatable but it’s undoubtedly a rather interesting notion.

Let us see what different art forms say about you, shall we?

Cubism

They say that fans of cubism are open-minded but have a certain tendency for controversy. Cubism was originally created as reaction to other traditional forms of art; and yet the people who have an eye for it are considered to have a rather traditional personality. People who like cubism may want to ignore tradition and live life in a way that they deem best.

Impressionism

Usually, people who’re into impressionism are agreeable and want to avoid conflict. Impressionism is a kind of art form that doesn’t mean to offend with its colors and patterns, thus being the perfect depiction for its conscientious fans who mean no harm.

Renaissance

Renaissance art pieces are more traditional in nature, quite like the fans that admire the art form. Conservative and simple, renaissance captures the beauty of natural things and still life, thus making them such a great choice for people who feel and like the old, but gold, classic works.

Abstract

For many people, abstract art doesn’t seem to make a lot of sense and for others, it makes all the sense.

Why is that so?

Abstract art is usually the choice for more intellectual people who search for meaning in the various patterns and lines of the painting. These people are very much like the fans of cubism; they can be argumentative and present controversial theories. This probably didn’t come as a surprise because of the fascinating and mysterious nature of abstract designs.

Having said all that, it’s not absolutely necessary that if someone likes impressionism, they can’t like cubism. Based on observation alone, these theories can be unfair or untrue, but they sure are fun to read about. If you’re looking to share your artistic talents with the world, then join us today!
